Visitor & Event Parking Information

Visitors must register for a Visitor Parking Pass. The pass may be obtained free of charge online through the .

Visitors to campus and those attending events on campus may park in the Visitor Lot in front of Holloway Hall (off Camden Avenue) or any legal space designated for employee or student parking (see parking map). Visitors may also park in the Wayne Street Parking Garage. Visitors may not park in any reserved spaces or those designated for service vehicles.

Visitors are responsible for any parking violations received while on campus.

  • Visitors ticketed for “Failure to Register Vehicle” may file an appeal request within 10 calendar days of issuance and through the to be considered for a one-time courtesy void.
  • Visitors are responsible for payment or adjudication of any subsequent parking citations they receive while on campus.
  • After 60 days of non-payment for active citations, license plates will be flagged with the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration.

Visitor parking permits can be issued in 1-, 7-, and 30-day increments with a maximum of three permits issued at one time.

Students and employees are not considered visitors and must purchase a valid permit to park in any SU lot.

License Plate Recognition & Information Retention

91短视频 uses license plate recognition in place of physical permits to ensure vehicles are authorized to park on campus.

Mounted cameras to scan license plates as valid permits and issue citations to vehicles without valid University permits or to those not parking in the proper parking lots. These cameras are for imaging only and do not capture any data.

License plates must face the driving lane and be properly affixed to the vehicle to be scanned for compliance. A vehicle will be cited if its plate cannot be scanned or if plate is not attached to vehicle.

  • Vehicles with only one license plate are not authorized to back in or pull through spaces and may be cited.
  • Citations issued due to inaccurate plate information or the inability to scan are the responsibility of the vehicle owner.
  • Refunds for permits and waiving of citations will not be approved for plates entered inaccurately.
